A United Nations working group has warned that Ghana could face food shortages, social unrest, and growing insecurity if the country fails to support sustainable agriculture and rural livelihoods. Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention has declared an Ebola outbreak in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo after hundreds of suspected cases and dozens of deaths were reported in Ituri province.
