The search for Ghana’s next beauty queen will officially begin on June 27, 2026, when auditions open for the 69th edition of the Miss Ghana pageant.

Organisers are inviting aspiring contestants from across the country to audition for a chance to represent their regions and compete for one of Ghana’s most prestigious crowns.

The auditions will take place at Oak Plaza Hotel, East Airport on Spintex Road, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Organised by Exclusive Events Ghana, Miss Ghana remains the country’s longest-running beauty pageant.

The competition aims to identify young women who demonstrate beauty, intelligence, leadership, discipline and a commitment to community service.

The winner will represent Ghana at the Miss World competition and lead charitable projects through the Miss Ghana Foundation.

This year’s edition is themed “Empowering Women, Enduring Legacy”, marking 69 years of promoting female leadership, cultural pride and social impact.

Prospective contestants must meet specific requirements to qualify for the auditions.

    Applicants must:

    • Be between 18 and 26 years old.
    • Demonstrate confidence, integrity and leadership qualities.
    • Show a strong commitment to community service.
    • Be capable of serving as an ambassador for Ghana both locally and internationally.

Judges will assess contestants based on their communication skills, confidence, creativity and overall personality.

Contestants will also have the opportunity to showcase their talents during the audition process.

Participants may perform singing, dancing, spoken word poetry, rap or other creative acts.

They will also engage with judges on issues related to national development and social impact.

Interested applicants can visit the official Miss Ghana website to download application forms and review detailed entry requirements.

Prospective contestants are encouraged to complete the application process before attending the auditions.

Speaking ahead of the auditions, Inna Patty, Chief Executive Officer of Exclusive Events Ghana, reflected on the pageant’s long-standing contribution to women’s empowerment.

“For nearly seven decades, Miss Ghana has empowered young women to inspire change, celebrate culture, and represent the pride of Ghana to the world. Now, a new chapter begins. The countdown to Miss Ghana @69 is officially on,” she said.

Miss Ghana 2026 is powered by Exclusive Events Ghana with support from Multimedia Ghana, including Joy FM, Hitz FM, Luv FM, MyJoyOnline and Joy News.

Other partners include Oak Plaza Hotels and Pippa’s Health Centre.

Media partners for the event are YFM, Happy FM, Daily Guide, Graphic Showbiz, The Spectator, DGN and Business & Financial Times (B&FT).

With auditions just weeks away, organisers are encouraging young women with ambition, talent and a passion for service to seize the opportunity and become the next face of Miss Ghana.
