Showboy Warns Barosky Not to Return to Ghana Amid UK Homelessness Struggle

Ghanaian social media personality Showboy has sent a strong message to musician Barosky, warning him against returning to Ghana despite his reported struggle with homelessness in the United Kingdom.

Just when Ghanaians thought the conversation surrounding Barosky’s difficult situation in the UK could not get more complicated, Showboy has entered the discussion with a blunt warning. The Ghanaian social media personality has publicly addressed Barosky after reports emerged that the highlife musician was struggling without stable accommodation in the United Kingdom and had appealed for support to return to Ghana. But rather than encouraging him to come home, Showboy believes returning could make Barosky’s situation even worse. In a video circulated on August 25, Showboy delivered a message that has now become another major talking point surrounding Barosky’s plight.

    Showboy’s Exact Message to Barosky

Showboy did not mince his words.

“Barosky, don’t ever come back to Ghana. It is better for you to sleep outside in the UK than to return to Ghana.”

He explained that, in his view, Barosky currently has public sympathy because people see him as someone struggling overseas. But Showboy believes that sympathy could disappear once the musician returns home.

    He added:

“Once they bring you back, nobody is going to help you again.”

Those comments have sparked another round of debate about whether Barosky should remain abroad or return home to seek support.

Showboy Also Speaks About Ofori Amponsah

Showboy did not stop at Barosky’s possible return. He also addressed the musician’s relationship with veteran highlife singer Ofori Amponsah, with whom Barosky previously worked. Showboy warned Barosky against assuming that Ofori Amponsah owes him assistance simply because they collaborated in the past.

    His exact words were:

“Do not also think Odori Amponsah owes you because you released a song with him. He is also a hustler trying to survive.”

The comment has added another layer to the conversation because many people following Barosky’s situation have been discussing whether established figures from his past should step forward to help him.

    Barosky’s Situation Has Touched Ghanaians

Barosky’s reported circumstances in the UK have generated significant concern in Ghana. The musician has reportedly appealed for help after losing stable accommodation and has expressed a desire to return home. His situation has particularly affected people who remember his years in the Ghanaian music industry. The story has also reopened a difficult conversation about Ghanaian entertainers who travel abroad in search of better opportunities but later find themselves facing unexpected hardships.

    Showboy’s Argument Has Divided Opinions

Not everyone agrees with Showboy. Some people believe Barosky should return to Ghana, where he could reconnect with people who know him and potentially rebuild his career. Others understand Showboy’s argument that public attention can be temporary and that returning home without a concrete support system may not solve the musician’s problems. That debate is now becoming just as important as the original story.

Barosky’s UK struggle has now taken another dramatic turn after Showboy publicly warned him against returning to Ghana. While Barosky reportedly wants to come home, Showboy believes remaining in the UK could ultimately give him a better chance of receiving support than returning to Ghana.

Do you agree with Showboy that Barosky should stay in the UK, or do you think Ghana is where he needs to be right now?
