“We’ll crush them all” — Kurt Okraku backs Black Stars or World Cup glory

Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku has expressed confidence in the Black Stars’ chances at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. He believes the team can overcome every opponent in Group L.

The Black Stars will make their fifth World Cup appearance. They have been drawn alongside Panama, England and Croatia in a tough group.

Speaking to members of the Ghanaian community in the United States, Okraku said he believes the team is ready for the challenge.

“We have three opponents at this World Cup: Panama, England and Croatia. We will crush all of them,” he said, drawing loud cheers from supporters.

His comments highlight the growing belief within the Black Stars camp. As a result, excitement continues to build ahead of the tournament.

Meanwhile, the team has been training in the United States. The players are expected to arrive in Canada later today before their opening match.

Ghana hopes to improve on its recent World Cup performances. The Black Stars exited at the group stage in both the 2014 tournament in Brazil and the 2022 edition in Qatar.

However, the team is determined to make a deeper run this time. Many fans are hoping for a return to the heights of the 2010 World Cup, when Ghana reached the quarter-finals.

The Black Stars will begin their campaign against Panama on Wednesday at BMO Field in Toronto. They will then face England at Gillette Stadium on June 23.

After that, Ghana will take on Croatia on June 27 in their final group match.

With confidence high, supporters across the world will be eager to see the team deliver on Okraku’s bold prediction. If the Black Stars perform well, they could secure a place in the knockout stage and reignite hopes of another memorable World Cup run.
