Ghana’s Black Maidens have been drawn in Group C of the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, where they will face Brazil, Canada and Norway.

The draw sets up a challenging group for the Black Maidens as they prepare to represent Ghana at the tournament in Morocco later this year.

The Black Maidens booked their place at the World Cup after defeating Senegal in a dramatic penalty shootout in the final round of the African qualifiers.

Their qualification secured Ghana’s return to the global youth tournament, where they will once again compete against some of the world’s top emerging football nations.

Brazil and Canada are among the strongest teams in women’s youth football, while Norway also brings a strong pedigree to the competition, making Group C one of the tournament’s most competitive pools.

The Black Maidens have built a strong reputation at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, consistently showcasing Ghana’s young football talent on the global stage.

The team will be aiming to build on that tradition when the tournament begins in Morocco, with hopes of progressing beyond the group stage against formidable opposition.

Ghana’s campaign will see the Black Maidens seek to make another memorable impact at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup as they take on Brazil, Canada and Norway in Group C.
