The Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana has confirmed that the last will and testament of its founder and leader, Apostle Prof. Emeritus Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, was officially read at the High Court in Accra.

In a statement issued on July 6, 2026, the church said the reading was conducted by the High Court Registrar of the Probate and Administration Division following a formal application filed by the late founder’s children through their lawyers, Marfo & Associates, on June 29, 2026.

According to the statement, the Deputy Registrar subsequently invited family members and other interested parties to attend the scheduled reading, which took place at 11:50 a.m. on July 6 at the Will Reading Room of the High Court Complex in Accra.

The church said the late founder’s children were present or represented at the proceedings.

Other attendees included the General Secretary of the Kristo Asafo Mission, Dr. Kwadwo Oduro Addo; the Deputy General Secretary (Administration) and Legal Advisor, Nana Kofi Safo Kantanka Esq.; Mr. Seth Appiah, popularly known as “Osebo the Zaraman”; Mr. Oppong Safo; and other interested parties.

The Mission noted that details of the will would be communicated to its members at the appropriate time.

It also urged members to remain united as the church begins implementing the late founder’s final wishes.

The statement was signed by Nana Kofi Safo Kantanka Esq., Deputy General Secretary (Administration) and Legal Advisor of the Kristo Asafo Mission.
