Emergency personnel from the San Francisco Fire Department were dispatched to the luxury hotel in the city’s Nob Hill neighborhood at around 2:52 a.m. local time on January 1 after staff and guests reported finding an unresponsive woman in the hallway. Upon arrival, paramedics performed an assessment and pronounced her deceased at the scene.
Officers from the San Francisco Police Department later arrived and confirmed the discovery of a deceased adult female. The medical examiner’s office is handling the investigation, though the officials have not yet revealed the cause of death. Authorities have indicated that foul play is not suspected at this time.
