MTN Ghana has announced a final dividend payment of GH₵0.48 per share for the 2025 financial year.

The telecom company made the announcement at an Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at the University of Professional Studies, Accra on March 23, 2026. The board of the company earlier approved GH₵0.08 interim dividend per share, and subsequently announced the GH₵0.40 per share at the AGM.

The dividend payment represents a 57 percent increase in total cash amounting to GH₵6.4 billion cedis. MTN Ghana made over GH₵7.8 billion cedis profit after tax in 2025, indicating an increase of 55 percent from the previous profit of about GH₵5 billion cedis.

Addressing shareholders, the Board Chairman of MTN Ghana, Mr. Ishmael Yamson assured that the company will emerge stronger after the ongoing tension in the Middle East.

According to him, the situation happening in the Middle East has an impact on the global economy, including Ghana.

He stated that significant efforts are being made to position the company to withstand shocks.
