The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority) has announced extended working hours at selected offices across the country to improve service delivery.

In a Facebook post shared on Thursday, May 14, the Authority said the affected offices will now operate from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

The DVLA said the new schedule is intended to give motorists, drivers, and other customers more flexibility, especially in high-demand urban centres where services such as vehicle registration, licensing, and renewals are frequently sought.

According to the Authority, the extended hours apply to 16 offices nationwide, including branches in major cities and regional capitals.

The offices listed so far include:

    • DVLA Prestige Centre Head Office
    • DVLA Narhman Office
    • DVLA Weija Office
    • DVLA Tema Office
    • DVLA Kumasi Office
    • DVLA Tarkwa Office
    • DVLA Bolgatanga Office
    • DVLA Wa Office
    • DVLA Tamale Office

The Authority indicated that the expanded schedule is part of efforts to reduce congestion and improve efficiency in service delivery.

DVLA added that the move will help streamline operations and improve customer experience across its service centres.
