Police at Medie have arrested a 50-year-old landlord, Kofi Koranteng, for allegedly killing his tenant during a dispute over a GH¢30 electricity bill. The suspect was arrested at his hideout in Nsawam and is currently assisting police with investigations. The deceased, Opoku Agyemang, was a 37-year-old father of three. The Office of the Registrar of Companies has announced plans to strike off 318 companies from Ghana’s official register over regulatory non-compliance. In a press release issued on May 19, 2026, and signed by Registrar of Companies Maame Samma Peprah, the ORC said the affected entities were listed in Volume 40 of the Companies Bulletin published on May 15, 2026.
