The Attorney General’s Office has released the schedule for Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) cases set to be heard in various courts across the country from Monday, July 27, to Friday, July 31, 2026.
The cases, which are at different stages of trial, include the Skytrain, National Service Authority, Cybersecurity Authority software procurement, National Buffer Stock, EXIM Bank loan and Akonta Mining cases.
Monday, July 27
The week begins with four high-profile cases.
At 9:00 a.m., Republic v Asamoah & Another (Skytrain Case) will be heard at Criminal Court 4, where the court will consider a motion for abridgment of time.
At 9:30 a.m., Specialized Court 1 will continue hearing Republic v Kwabena Adu Boahene & 2 Others in the Cybersecurity Authority software procurement case. The court is expected to continue the cross-examination of the fourth prosecution witness.
At 10:00 a.m., Criminal Court 4 will hear Republic v Gifty Oware Mensah in the National Service Authority case. Proceedings will continue with the cross-examination of the third prosecution witness.
Later, at 10:30 a.m., General Jurisdiction Court 10 will hear Republic v Bernard Antwi-Boasiako (Chairman Wontumi) & 2 Others in the EXIM Bank loan case. The court is expected to receive an update on ongoing plea bargain negotiations.
Tuesday, July 28
On Tuesday, Specialized Court will hear Republic v Hanan Abdul-Wahab Aludiba & Another in the National Buffer Stock case at 9:00 a.m..
The court will consider a motion to compel the disclosure of certain documents filed by the first accused and a separate application seeking leave to travel by the second accused.
At 9:30 a.m., Specialized Court 1 will resume the Cybersecurity Authority software procurement trial with the continued cross-examination of the fourth prosecution witness.
Wednesday, July 29
The Cybersecurity Authority case will continue at 9:30 a.m. before Specialized Court 1, where the fourth prosecution witness will remain under cross-examination.
Later, at 12:00 p.m., the same court will proceed with the trial of Republic v Hanan Abdul-Wahab Aludiba & Another in the National Buffer Stock case.
Thursday, July 30
At 9:00 a.m., Criminal Court 4 will hear Republic v Asamoah & Another in the Skytrain case. The court will consider a motion for a stay of proceedings pending appeal.
At 11:30 a.m., Specialized Court 1 will again continue the Cybersecurity Authority software procurement case with the cross-examination of the fourth prosecution witness.
Friday, July 31
The week’s proceedings conclude with two cases.
At 9:00 a.m., Criminal Court 1 will hear Republic v Akonta Mining & 3 Others in the Tano-Nimiri Forest Reserve mining case. The court will continue the cross-examination of the third prosecution witness.
At 10:00 a.m., the High Court will hold a case management conference in Republic v Osei Assibey Antwi, another case linked to the National Service Authority.
