The world’s most-subscribed YouTube creator, MrBeast, has married South African content creator Thea Booysen in a private ceremony attended by close family and friends.
The YouTube star, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, exchanged vows with Booysen on Richard Branson’s Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands. About 70 guests attended the intimate celebration.
Unlike the elaborate productions that have made MrBeast famous online, the wedding was kept low-key, with no livestreams or large-scale filming.
MrBeast and Booysen reportedly met in South Africa and began dating in 2022.
Their relationship reached another milestone when Donaldson proposed on Christmas Day in 2024. The couple has now officially started married life together.
Sharing the news on social media, MrBeast posted wedding photographs alongside the caption: “I found MrsBeast.”
The announcement quickly attracted congratulatory messages from fans around the world.
According to reports, the wedding festivities lasted for a week and began on July 14.
Guests took part in activities including snorkelling and kitesurfing before the couple exchanged vows.
For the ceremony, Booysen wore a custom-designed wedding gown, while MrBeast chose a classic Ralph Lauren tuxedo.
The couple’s decision to keep their wedding private surprised many fans.
MrBeast has built a global audience by sharing large-scale challenges, charitable projects and record-breaking YouTube videos. However, he chose to make his wedding a personal occasion rather than a public spectacle.
The ceremony marked a new chapter in the couple’s relationship, which began in South Africa and culminated in a quiet celebration on a private Caribbean island.
While MrBeast is best known for his blockbuster videos and headline-making giveaways, his latest milestone was a more personal one as he and Thea Booysen began their life together as husband and wife.
