Prophet Boahen Uche’s Old 5-Year Presidential Term Prophecy Resurfaces After Government announced its support for a proposal to extend presidential and parliamentary terms from four years to five; Start with Prophet Boahen

A prophecy delivered nearly two years ago is back in the spotlight, and many Ghanaians are asking the same question:
Did Prophet Boahen Uche see this coming? 👀
The founder of Reign House Chapel is trending after an old video from his 31st December 2024 Watch Night service resurfaced online following a major announcement by the government.
WHAT DID THE PROPHET SAY?
In the resurfaced video, Prophet Boahen Uche said he saw a bill that would seek to increase Ghana’s presidential term from four years to five years. He also warned that such a move could generate confusion and public debate, urging Ghanaians to pray for the nation. At the time, there was no public indication that such a proposal was under active government consideration.
WHY IS THE PROPHECY TRENDING NOW?
The prophecy resurfaced after Attorney General and Minister for Justice Dr Dominic Ayine announced that the government had accepted in principle recommendations from the Constitutional Review Committee. Among the recommendations is a proposal to extend the terms of the President and Members of Parliament from four years to five. The government also accepted proposals to move general elections to November and introduce fixed timelines for resolving presidential election petitions.
HAS THE LAW CHANGED?
Not yet. Although the government has accepted the recommendation in principle, the Constitution has not been amended. The proposal must still go through the constitutional amendment process, which includes parliamentary procedures and, for some provisions, may require approval through a national referendum before it can become law.

GHANAIANS REACT
The resurfaced video has generated mixed reactions online. Some people believe the government’s announcement confirms Prophet Boahen Uche’s prediction and have praised what they see as another accurate prophecy. Others disagree, pointing out that accepting a recommendation is not the same as changing the Constitution and say it is too early to describe the prophecy as fulfilled.
Whether you see it as an incredible prediction or simply a coincidence, one thing is certain the old video has sparked fresh debate across Ghana. Now all eyes are on the constitutional review process to see whether the proposed five-year presidential term will eventually become law.
Do you think Prophet Boahen Uche accurately foresaw this development, or is it too soon to make that conclusion? Let us know in the comments.
