Pop icon Madonna has announced a reward for the return of several vintage costume pieces that went missing following her recent appearance at Coachella.
In a post shared on Instagram, the singer described the missing items as deeply personal. “These aren’t just clothes, they are part of my history,” she wrote, appealing to the public for help in recovering them.
Among the missing items are the purple jacket, corset, and dress she wore during her surprise guest performance with Sabrina Carpenter at the California festival. The pieces hold added sentimental value, as Madonna revealed she had worn the same boots, corset, and jacket during her Coachella performance two decades ago.
“It’s like a full-circle moment, very meaningful for me,” she told the audience during the set, where the pair performed duets of her hits “Vogue” and “Like a Prayer.”
According to the Indio Police Department, the items were last seen on a golf cart at around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday on the festival grounds. Authorities indicated there is no clear evidence of theft, suggesting the costumes may have been accidentally lost while being transported.
Madonna also noted that additional pieces from her personal archive, dating back to the same era, are unaccounted for.
The performance marked another milestone moment for the pop legend, who also previewed new material from her upcoming album Confessions II, a follow-up to her 2005 release Confessions on a Dance Floor, expected to drop in July.
