Two people are feared dead and 28 others were rescued after a fatal crash at Kwashieman in Accra on Good Friday.

The accident happened around 4:30 a.m. when a church bus traveling from Takoradi collided with a truck loaded with onions and yams en route to the Gomoa Dominase market.

According to reports, the bus was turning toward Sowutuom when the speeding truck, despite sounding its horn, slammed into it.

A National Ambulance Service team from Ablekuma North responded quickly, transporting 20 victims to Weija Gbawe Municipal Hospital and eight to the Ablekuma North Polyclinic.

Residents have commended the ambulance crew for their swift and professional response.
