Motorola officially unveiled its first book-style foldable smartphone, the Motorola Razr Fold, marking a major push into the high-end foldable market long dominated by Samsung and Google.

The Razr Fold boasts a 6.6 inch external screen ,an 8.1 inch flexible main display and stylus support After years of focusing on clamshell style flip phones under the Razr name, Motorola’s new device opens horizontally like a small tablet a design aimed directly at challengers such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold
Motorola also highlighted Moto Pen Ultra stylus support, a feature missing on some rivals, allowing easier note-taking, drawing, and precision control on the larger screen.
The company hasn’t provided dimensions, so we don’t know how thick it is ,We do know, however, that it’ll include support for the Moto Pen Ultra stylus. This is actually a fairly big deal, as Samsung dropped the feature for the z fold 7. Modern foldables basically double as tablets, so a stylus is always appreciated.
There’s a robust camera system here, with a 50MP Sony sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide/macro, a 50MP telephoto, a 32MP external selfie lens and a 20MP internal camera. It also offers the ability to record in Dolby Vision. The Razr Fold will be available in blue and white. While Motorola confirmed the design and many headline features, pricing, full hardware specifications, and global release dates remain unannounced. The company said it will share those details in the coming months ahead of a targeted summer 2026 launch.
Motorola also revealed other products at CES, including premium Android phones and AI-focused wearable concepts, but the Razr Fold clearly stole the spotlight as the brand’s most ambitious smartphone yet.
