Ghanaian singer Sista Afia has addressed rumors on social media that she personally asked Tracy Shay to come on stage during her recent concert in Koforidua.

The singer strongly denied the claims in a statement on her official X (formerly Twitter) account. She said she doesn’t know how or when the young woman got on stage.

Sista Afia claims she didn’t directly ask Tracy Shay to join her on stage, despite videos and articles online suggesting otherwise. Sista Afia said that her top priority right now is the success and importance of her “10th anniversary celebration in the music industry,” which she called a giant milestone in her career.

She also said that she is currently meeting with her management and team to go over all the details of the event.  The “Chill” singer promised the audience that a more specific answer on the issue would be given at the right time, after internal reviews are done.

She concluded by expressing her heartfelt gratitude to her fans, supporters, coworkers, sponsors, and the general public for their love and support during the anniversary celebration.
