Ghanaian artist Sefadzi Abena Amesu, popularly known as Sefa, has praised her collaborator Stonebwoy for being a perfectionist, stating that he can record his verses multiple times to ensure they are fulfilled, even when everyone around him says the song is perfect as it is.

Sefa disclosed in an interview with Hitz FM that she visited Stonebwoy’s house to record their upcoming single, “Busy Body,” after he texted her to ask her to work on the song, as they had previously been set to collaborate. According to Sefa, Stonebwoy is not only a talented artist but also a very friendly and playful person, making the recording process a vibe. She noted that Stonebwoy wrote his verse on the spot, right there in the studio, and is extremely critical about his work.

Stonebwoy’s commitment to producing top-notch music was demonstrated by the fact that he frequently requested adjustments to his recordings, even while other studio employees believed they were flawless. The “E choke” hitmaker even joked about their music video shoot, where Stonebwoy wanted to change some lines, but she disagreed, saying it was already perfect. She praised Stonebwoy’s perfectionism, stating that it drives him to produce his best work.

“Stonebwoy wrote his verse there and then in the studio. Even when he’s recording, he can take his verses so many times, even when everyone says it’s perfect, he’ll be like, let me add this line. Even when we were shooting the visualizer, he was like, “I think I should change this line and I was like, please it’s okay, it’s perfect”, she added.

“Busy Body”, their newest collaboration, is set to drop tomorrow, February 25. She encouraged the public to go listen to the song.
