The Minister for Roads and Highways, Kwame Governs Agbodza, has directed the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Highways Authority, Mallam Issah Ishak, to initiate the termination of Black Oak’s contract for the rehabilitation of the Bogoso–Prestea Road. According to the minister, the contractor has failed to make meaningful progress on the project despite being awarded the contract in 2025. More than 500,000 final-year Senior High School (SHS) students across Ghana are today beginning the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), with candidates writing the Oral English paper nationwide.
