Popular Ghanaian actress Beverly Afaglo has died, according to multiple local media reports and a tribute shared by her husband, musician Choirmaster.
Choirmaster, known in private life as Eugene Kwadwo Boadu Baah, announced the news in an emotional Instagram post on Sunday, May 24.

“My heart is shattered beyond words over the death of my beloved wife, Beverly Afaglo,” he wrote.
The musician said her death came only days before her birthday.
“It would have been just about four more days to your birthday, but I guess the Lord wanted to celebrate with you, so He called you,” he added.
Choirmaster described the actress as the source of his happiness and strength.
“You were my strength, my happiness, and the reason my life felt complete,” he wrote.
“I promise to take care of and continue everything we planned and started. Until my last breath, you will remain in my heart forever.”
The announcement sparked widespread reactions on social media, with fans and colleagues mourning the actress and sharing tributes in her honour. 
The cause of Beverly Afaglo’s death has not been made public.
Her family is expected to release further details in the coming days.
