A supporter of Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale caused a scene at the High Court after security personnel escorted him from the premises for disrupting proceedings ahead of Webkid’s bail hearing.

The fan arrived at the court carrying a placard bearing the message, “Free Webkid”. Witnesses said he repeatedly played loud music despite warnings from court security officers.

According to eyewitnesses, several attempts were made to restore order. However, the supporter allegedly refused to comply, forcing security personnel to remove him from the premises.

As he was being led away, the visibly upset fan issued a warning to the officers.

“You think you have the law, but the law will catch up with you,” he said.

His remarks drew the attention of bystanders and other supporters gathered at the court.

The incident happened as supporters of Webkid assembled at the High Court to show solidarity ahead of the much-anticipated bail hearing.

Some supporters carried placards and chanted slogans calling for his release. Security officers maintained a strong presence around the court to ensure order.

Authorities have not indicated whether further action will be taken against the fan.

Meanwhile, attention remains on the outcome of Webkid’s bail application as supporters continue to monitor developments in the case.
