NSA directs personnel to update bank details for new allowance payment system

The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced the rollout of a new allowance payment platform, requiring all National Service Personnel (NSPs) to update their banking details to ensure continued receipt of their stipends.

In a notice to personnel, the Authority stated that payments will now be made directly into bank accounts, replacing previous payment methods. As part of the transition, all NSPs are expected to submit their bank account numbers through the updated system.

The NSA indicated that the new platform will take effect immediately, with March allowances set to be paid via the bank-based system. Personnel who fail to update their details risk delays in receiving their stipends.

The Authority has set a deadline of Friday, April 25, for all required updates to be completed. It urged personnel to act promptly to avoid disruptions.

The move is part of broader efforts by the NSA to streamline payment processes, improve efficiency, and enhance transparency in the disbursement of allowances to service personnel across the country.

Personnel have also been advised to ensure the accuracy of their submitted information and to follow official guidelines when completing the update process.
