Fire has gutted the Monte Carlo Pub at Tema Community 10 in the Greater Accra Region, forcing emergency responders to rush to the scene to contain the blaze.
Thick smoke was first seen billowing from the building, raising alarm among residents and nearby businesses. Fire crews quickly moved in after receiving an emergency alert.
The Ghana National Fire Service deployed four fire tenders to fight the flames and stop the fire from spreading to adjoining structures. Firefighters continue to battle the blaze as efforts intensify to bring it under control.
Authorities have not yet determined what caused the fire. No casualties or injuries have been confirmed so far.
