Ghanaian musician Moliy has clinched the award for Best International Collaboration at the 27th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA). The musician was honoured for her daring and genre-bending song, “Shake It To The Max (Remix),” at the ceremony, which took place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at a lively Grand Arena.

Dancehall queen Shenseea, the unique “E-Syde” leader Skillibeng, and the significant Silent Addy are among the powerful roster of Jamaican superstars on the record.

For Moliy, whose music has gradually crossed the gap between Caribbean dancehall and West African Afrobeats, the win is regarded as a major turning point. The “Shake It To The Max” remix, which brought together some of the biggest stars in the Caribbean music scene, became a mainstay on international radios, demonstrating its “cultural weight” well beyond Ghana’s boundaries.

The collaboration stood out not just for its star power but for the seamless integration of different musical textures, creating a record that felt both authentic to Moliy’s roots and globally competitive. The International Collaboration category was one of the most hotly contested of the evening, featuring several high-profile crossings of talent.
