The Ghana Meteorological Agency has issued a weather alert warning of thunderstorms, rainfall and strong winds across several parts of Ghana, especially along the coastal belt.
In its latest update, the Agency said developing rain-bearing clouds have created cloudy conditions, triggering ongoing thunderstorms in multiple areas.
Regions expected to be affected include the Volta Region, Greater Accra Region, Eastern Region, Central Region and Western Region.
The Agency warned that these storms could be accompanied by strong winds, which may pose risks to lives, property and infrastructure in affected communities.
Residents have been advised to remain cautious and take necessary safety precautions as the weather conditions persist.
