The 18-year-old midfielder has signed a five-year contract, transitioning to the Eliteserien side from the African Vikings Academy Football Club in Ghana.

Having previously showcased his skills in the Ghana Premier League with Nsoatreman FC, Apetorgbor is regarded as a promising player anticipated to make a significant impact in Sandefjord’s upcoming season.

Club Sports Manager Matteus Bardsen expressed enthusiasm about the new signing: “Foster is a very exciting addition. As a young talent who has just turned 18 and has trained with us this winter, we believe he possesses the potential to shine offensively. We signed him for five years, allowing us the time to nurture his growth while we witness his development in our blue jersey.”

Excited about the opportunity, Apetorgbor remarked, “I view this move as a major step in my career and wish to contribute positively to Sandefjord Fotball. I can’t wait to get out on the pitch and perform for the team.”

Apetorgbor is poised to make his debut this weekend against Valerenga, proudly donning the number 17 jersey throughout the season.
