Four young Ghanaians have secured places in the Guinness World Records after setting impressive records in recycling, agriculture, organisation and creativity.

The record holders—Isaac K Boadi Atuah, George K Kwarteng Boadi, Selorm Kordzo Junior Dzakah and Rebecca Ackron Essel—achieved their feats in different categories, highlighting the creativity and talent of young Ghanaians on the global stage.

Isaac and George set recycling record

Isaac K Boadi Atuah and George K Kwarteng Boadi jointly hold the Guinness World Record for the fastest time to sort two bags of recyclable materials by a team of two participants under the age of 16.

According to the Guinness World Records website, the pair completed the challenge in just 28 seconds in Kasoa on September 11, 2024.

The record attempt was organised to raise awareness about recycling and the importance of keeping the environment clean and sustainable.

Isaac Boadi earns second Guinness record

Isaac K Boadi Atuah later added another Guinness World Record to his name by setting the record for the most seeds planted in one minute by an under-16 participant.

He planted 14 seeds in one minute during Ghana’s National Farmers’ Day celebration at Nyanyano Millennium City on December 5, 2025.

The challenge was intended to encourage children to grow their own food while promoting environmental conservation and sustainable agriculture.

Selorm Dzakah breaks school bag packing record

Selorm Kordzo Junior Dzakah also entered the Guinness World Records after setting the fastest time to pack a school bag by an under-16 participant.

He completed the task in 11.77 seconds in Kasoa on December 4, 2025.

The record attempt aimed to encourage young people to develop organisational skills, improve time management and strengthen problem-solving abilities.

Rebecca Essel recognised for creative challenge

Rebecca Ackron Essel completed the list of young Ghanaian record holders after setting the Guinness World Record for the fastest time to build a pyramid using 10 toilet rolls.

Her achievement further adds to Ghana’s growing presence in the Guinness World Records and reflects the increasing participation of young people in internationally recognised challenges.

The achievements of the four youngsters demonstrate how innovation, determination and creativity can earn global recognition while promoting education, environmental awareness and practical life skills.
