Ghanaian music stars Stonebwoy, Fameye, DopeNation and Akwaboah will headline the Ghana for Gold Concert in Scotland on Saturday, August 1, 2026, as part of activities to celebrate Ghanaian culture and rally support for Team Ghana at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.

The event, organised by ASA Plus, will take place at the iconic Usher Hall on Lothian Road in Edinburgh, with gates opening at 6:00 p.m.

Organisers say the concert is aimed at bringing together Ghanaians in the diaspora, music lovers and supporters of Team Ghana for an evening of live performances, cultural celebration and national pride.

The star-studded lineup features award-winning dancehall artiste Stonebwoy, Afro-fusion singer Fameye, celebrated music duo DopeNation, and highlife musician Akwaboah, who are expected to entertain fans with some of their biggest hits.

The concert is also intended to strengthen unity among Ghanaians living abroad while encouraging support for Ghanaian athletes competing at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Promotional materials for the event carry the message: “Come and celebrate our heritage. Support our athletes. Share the pride. One nation. One spirit. One celebration.”

Tickets are available through Eventbrite, with Standard tickets priced at £40 and VIP tickets at £60.

With four of Ghana’s biggest music acts sharing one stage, organisers expect the concert to attract patrons from across Scotland and neighbouring cities for a memorable night of music, culture and support for Team Ghana.
