The family of Beverly Afaglo has appealed to the public to stop spreading misinformation and speculation surrounding the circumstances of her passing.
In a statement shared by her elder sister, Royal Elorm, on behalf of the family, concerns were raised over what was described as false narratives circulating on social media regarding Beverly’s health, treatment, and events leading to her death.
According to the statement, the family urged the public to refrain from promoting unverified information and speculative accounts during this period of mourning.
They further appealed for compassion, sensitivity, and respect as they continue to process the loss, describing the period as extremely difficult for relatives and loved ones.
The family also expressed the desire for Beverly Afaglo to be remembered for her strength, courage, and the love she showed to her children and family rather than for rumours and inaccurate stories.
Beverly Afaglo reportedly passed away on Saturday night, with the news confirmed by her husband, Choirmaster, through an emotional social media tribute.
In his message, Choirmaster expressed deep grief over the loss, describing his wife as a source of strength and happiness in his life and saying her memory would remain with him forever.
Her passing has sparked an outpouring of tributes from colleagues, fans, friends, and members of Ghana’s entertainment industry, many remembering her contributions to film and media as well as the impact she made throughout her career.
