In response to rumors that Ghanaian rapper Edem was involved in an accident, his management team released a press release.

According to earlier reports, last Saturday, around two in the morning, Edem’s car struck and killed a pedestrian on the George Walker Bush Highway. According to reports, the rapper was en route to UTV’s United Showbiz program.

“Musician Edem Goget’em escaped what the Tesano Police Service’s MTTD division describes as a near-fatal accident.

“The musician was involved in an accident on George Walker Bush Highway on Sunday, December 10, following his appearance on United Television. Suddenly, a ‘naked’ woman crossed his path,” the statement stated.

“Edem’s car turned upside down after the impact, but the artiste is very fine,” the statement continued. Since the case is still being investigated, Edem is currently abiding by the police service’s requests for due process.

“Edem has promised to be available to help with inquiries as needed. Edem reassures all of his supporters that he is well, alive, and well.

Meanwhile, according to Citinewsroom.com, the Ghanaian rapper, known in private life as Anthony Denning Agbeviadey, has been granted GH₵50,000 after he was arraigned in court for knocking down a woman believed to be in her 40s.

He was charged with two counts of careless and inconsiderate driving and negligently causing harm.
