Evangelist Patricia Asiamah, controversial Ghanaian prophetess widely known as Agradaa has officially taken on the new name Evangelist Josephine Asiamah, her husband, Angel Asiamah, announced. The change, he said, represents a spiritual rebirth and a conscious effort to distance her from past controversies.
Angel Asiamah explained that “Josephine” draws inspiration from the Biblical Joseph, who endured trials but remained faithful, symbolizing resilience and transformation. He called on followers to continue offering prayers for her during this period.
Evangelist Josephine, whose legal name is Patricia Asiamah, is serving a 15-year prison sentence for her role in a televised “money-doubling” scheme. Her appeal against the conviction is ongoing, and she was denied bail by the High Court. She is currently held at Nsawam Female Prison.
Her husband emphasized that the new name signals a fresh chapter in her spiritual journey, despite her incarceration, and reinforces her commitment to her ministry.
