Warning messages have appeared on the exterior walls of the Swedru mansion belonging to Frederick Kumi, popularly known as Abu Trica, following his extradition to the United States to face alleged romance fraud charges.

A video circulating on social media shows several inscriptions painted in red, green and black across the walls of the property, drawing fresh public attention to the case.

In the footage, the words “Warning” and “Notice” are clearly visible on different sections of the mansion’s exterior walls.

Some of the inscriptions appear to suggest that the property is under investigation and caution people to stay away.

However, parts of the messages are obscured by trees and other objects, making it impossible to accurately read the full contents of every inscription.

Authorities have not confirmed who painted the messages or whether the inscriptions were officially authorised.

The warning messages have altered the appearance of the luxury property, which features high perimeter walls, decorative architecture, palm trees and a spacious compound.

The video has sparked widespread discussion online and renewed interest in Abu Trica’s properties following his extradition.

    Extradited to the United States

Abu Trica was arrested in Ghana over his alleged involvement in an $8 million romance fraud scheme that reportedly targeted elderly victims in the United States.

He faces charges including conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering.

The High Court in Accra upheld his extradition after dismissing a legal challenge filed against the process. He was subsequently transferred to the United States, where he is expected to stand trial.

The allegations against Abu Trica remain before the courts. He is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in accordance with the law.
