Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has won two awards at the 43rd International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA).
The event was held in Florida over the weekend.
Shatta Wale won:
- Best African Dancehall Entertainer
- Concert of the Year for his ShattaFest show
The wins add to his growing recognition on the international music scene. His management expressed gratitude to the organisers of the awards. They also thanked fans for their support.

The team said the awards reflect Shatta Wale’s influence as one of Africa’s leading dancehall artistes.The latest wins bring his total IRAWMA awards to 11.
Last year, he won three awards at the same event. These included Best African Dancehall Entertainer, Best Music Video for Killa Ji Mi, and Best Crossover Song for Commando, featuring Bounty Killer.
