Trump Announces Cease Fire Between Israel And Iran

President Donald Trump announced on Monday night that a ceasefire agreement has been reached between Israel and Iran, expressing hope that the deal will bring an end to the ongoing military tensions between the two longtime rivals.

Speaking at a press event, Trump said, “We have successfully brokered a ceasefire between Israel and Iran. I believe this will end all military hostilities between the two countries, and bring some much-needed peace to the region.”

The announcement follows weeks of rising tension and back-and-forth attacks between Israel and Iran, raising global fears of a broader Middle East conflict. Trump, who has continued to play an active role in foreign affairs since leaving office, said behind-the-scenes diplomacy made the agreement possible, though details of the negotiation process remain unclear.

Officials from both Israel and Iran have not yet fully confirmed the terms of the ceasefire, but early signs suggest both sides are pausing major military operations.

Trump called the agreement “a great step toward peace” and encouraged world leaders to support the deal and promote dialogue. “This is not just about Israel and Iran,” he said. “This is about regional and global stability.”

Analysts are cautiously optimistic but note that long-standing political and ideological differences between the two countries could still lead to future flare-ups if not properly addressed.

For now, though, many around the world are welcoming this moment of calm and hoping it marks the beginning of a more peaceful chapter in the Middle East.
