Ghanaian dancer and social media personality Ananzo Official has publicly addressed the status of a $5,000 promise allegedly made by Nigerian music superstar Davido, revealing that the much-anticipated money has yet to be delivered.

In a recent interview that has since gone viral on TikTok and Instagram, Ananzo confirmed widespread speculation that Davido’s financial pledge has not been fulfilled, despite gaining traction online. “The $5,000 Davido promised is not in,” Ananzo stated bluntly, sparking renewed discussion around celebrity promises and accountability.

The issue stems from a previous moment during one of Davido’s trips to Ghana, where the Nigerian hitmaker praised Ananzo’s energetic dance performance and reportedly made the generous offer either onstage or via social media. Many fans celebrated the gesture at the time, commending Davido for uplifting young talent.

However, months later, Ananzo claims there’s been no follow-up or payment. While he refrained from criticizing Davido directly, his statement hints at disappointment, especially given the public nature of the promise.

The revelation has ignited debate online, with fans divided—some urging patience and others demanding answers from Davido’s camp. As of now, the Nigerian singer has not publicly responded to the claims.

Ananzo, who has built a growing reputation for his street-style dance content and viral moments, says he remains grateful for the exposure but hopes the promise will eventually be honored.
