Juventus an Italian soccer team, plans to open a football academy in Ghana in order to assist in the development of local talent.
The Serie A heavyweights already have academies dispersed across more than 50 nations where they develop new players.
The Juventus Academy Ghana’s social media page announced that the academy’s inauguration day will be October 27, 2023.

The goal of the Juventus Academy project is to spread the team’s philosophy, practices, and ideals to as many young people as possible.
It offers both the teaching and development of football abilities and educational training, accompanying young players in their evolution from introduction to the game to maturity, and not just within the sport. It is present in more than 50 countries and on every continent.

No matter the participants’ experience level, all programs are accessible, and the activities are designed with their mental and physical health in mind. All of the suggested activities are centered around having fun.”
“Qualified coaches based in Turin provide constant support to projects with periodic visits to ensure that the Juventus Academy project’s standards are upheld,” the statement continued.
The SMAC Sports Centre in Accra will serve as the home of the Juventus Academy in Ghana.
