Samsung’s 2nm Exynos 2600 Nearly Matches OnePlus 15 GPU Power

Leaked Exynos 2600 benchmarks of an actual Galaxy S26 offer an early look at the performance of the world’s first 2nm chipset. This includes the Xclipse 960 GPU benchmark, which can be compared to the Adreno 840 that is part of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 found inside the OnePlus 15.

Samsung Exynos 2600 test devices have already appeared on Geekbench in the past and gave an indication of the expected CPU performance. Now, a Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-S942B has also appeared in the Geekbench database. This model is expected to be the international Galaxy S26. As can be seen from the specs, it features a 10-core SoC with the Samsung Xclipse 960, which means it’s clearly the Exynos 2600. This is also a pretty obvious hint that the European Galaxy S26 will feature Samsung’s in-house processor.

The Exynos 2600 will likely become the world’s first 2nm chipset and is expected to debut in the South Korean model variant of the Samsung Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus. It’s unclear if this processor will also power the European version of Samsung’s upcoming flagship phones. Gamers in particular are probably still skeptical, even though Samsung has repeatedly emphasized that efficiency and heat development are under control this time, thanks in part to measures such as a heat blocker directly on the chip

In this case, it’s not a CPU benchmark but a Vulkan and OpenCL GPU test. In early test units, this graphics unit got fairly close to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which is found in the OnePlus 15 (from $999 on Amazon) and other Android phones. The comparison is not entirely fair, since the Samsung Galaxy S26 will likely get more performance in the coming weeks via software optimizations. Even so, the Xclipse 960 GPU already offers 88% of the performance of the Adreno 840 GPU in Vulkan, or just under 80% in OpenCL.
