President John Dramani Mahama on Sunday, January 11, 2026, departed Accra for the United Kingdom to hold meetings with coordinators of the Accra Reset Initiative.

A statement issued by the Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, said the President will subsequently travel to Davos, Switzerland, to participate in a session of the World Economic Forum (WEF).
According to the statement, President John Dramani Mahama is also scheduled to hold a series of bilateral meetings with selected world leaders on the margins of the Davos Forum.
These engagements are expected to strengthen Ghana’s international partnerships and advance key priorities within the country’s development agenda.
