The tournament, scheduled for June 2026 and hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, will see Ghana compete in a challenging Group L alongside Panama, England, and Croatia. Speaking at a press briefing on Thursday, February 26, Adams outlined the financial roadmap from pre-tournament preparations to a potential run to the final.

Pre-tournament activities have been allocated $1,230,465 USD (GH¢13,063,723.90).

This amount will fund a FIFA camping period and four international friendly matches aimed at sharpening the team ahead of the competition. Adams stressed that the preparatory friendlies are crucial to building momentum before the group stage. The group stage represents the largest portion of expenditure, with $6,284,000 USD (GH¢66,716,599) set aside for appearance fees, match bonuses, per diems for players and technical staff, and allowances for additional officials.

Financial obligations will change if Ghana advances past the group stage. With no appearance fees and higher performance bonuses, the Round of 32 budget is $690,000 USD (GH¢7,325,661). Allocations then rise to $920,000 for the Round of 16, $1,137,500 for the quarterfinals, $1,365,000 for the semifinals, and $1,840,000 should the Black Stars reach the final. An extra $310,000 USD has been set aside for management, officials, and support staff honoraria during the competition.
