Kobbie Mainoo playing for the Black Stars is already something that some Ghanaians are excited about on social media.
As Manchester United easily defeated Everton 3-0 on Sunday, Mainoo made his Premier League debut.
With goals from Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, and Alejandro Garnacho helping the Reds win, the 18-year-old put on a confident display in the middle of the park.
Several Ghanaians are already dreaming of seeing Mainoo in a Black Stars jersey after seeing him perform to widespread acclaim from both fans and commentators.
This young midfielder is eligible to play for Ghana because of his English roots, even though he has represented England at the U17, U18, and U19 levels.
In order to convince Mainoo to choose the Black Stars over England, some Ghanaian supporters resorted to social media.

Legends of Manchester United Gary Neville and Roy Keane, meanwhile, were praising Mainoo’s performance. Neville stated: “There is an eighteen-year-old who appears to be more composed than anyone else.”
“Kobbie Mainoo has been by far Manchester United’s best player.
His Premier League debut was absolutely outstanding.” “Unbelievable,” Keane continued.
Though I’m sure we won’t, we don’t want to go overboard.
“Today, he gave off the impression that he always had time to make decisions about when to go long or short and off the ball. Amazing performance all around.
