Andre Ayew endured a disastrous return to club football after receiving a red card just two minutes into his debut for Le Havre.
Ayew was sent off in the 67th minute for what was adjudged to be a dangerous challenge after coming on in the second half.
The Ghana captain joined the Ligue 1 side two weeks ago and was unveiled before the November international break.

He was later named as a substitute for Le Havre’s league match against Nantes on Saturday afternoon.

Andre Ayew came on in the 65th minute to replace Loic Nego, but he only lasted two minutes before being sent off for a reckless tackle.
The 33-year-old was given a straight red card after a high challenge on Swiss defender Eray Cormet.
As a result, Le Havre had to play the rest of the game with 10 men, but they held on to earn a point against Nantes on the road.

Andre Ayew had been out of action at the club level since the end of last season, when his contract with Nottingham Forest expired.
However, the Ghana international returned to the Black Stars in November for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
He was an unused substitute in Chris Hughton’s 1-0 win over Madagascar at home, but he started in the 1-0 loss to Comoros, though he was replaced at halftime.
