Euphoria Season 3: Everything You Need to Know About the April 2026 Return
After years of anticipation, Euphoria is finally coming with its third season, and it’s shaping up to be the largest and boldest yet. HBO has confirmed that Euphoria Season 3 will broadcast on April 12, 2026, following a four-year hiatus since Season 2.
Unlike previous seasons, Season 3 takes place five years in the future, following Rue (Zendaya) and her pals as they negotiate life after high school. The first official trailer, released in January, hinted at a darker, more chaotic world in which old demons and new pressures combine.
The new trailer shows Rue in Mexico, fleeing debt and danger, as a voiceover hints at her search for meaning and possibly faith. Meanwhile, Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) appears engaged to Nate (Jacob Elordi) and living life as an OnlyFans-style content creator. However, their relationship is tense.
Other characters like Jules, Maddy and Lexi are showing major growth. We see that Jules is in art school, Maddy works in Hollywood, and Lexi is helping run a TV show. Fans have been breaking down every frame of the crazy trailer, which is full of Easter eggs, chaos, and questions about what will happen next in the lives of each character.
We have most of the original cast back, including Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, and Jacob Elordi. Season 3 also brings several high-profile newcomers. The series introduces Rosalía, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth and Marshawn Lynch. These changes give the show’s already intense story some new life. Unfortunately, some of the old cast did not make an appearance. Gia, played by Storm Reid, will not be there, and Kat, played by Barbie Ferreira, has stated that she is no longer in the show.
Season 3 will be more dramatic in tone and have deeper existential stakes, according to creator Sam Levinson. The time shift allows the series to delve into subjects other than adolescent anguish, focusing on adult insecurity, identity, and moral ramifications as the protagonists confront the mess they made in their youth.
