Gospel musician Diana Asamoah has attributed the ongoing confusion surrounding the affairs of the late Highlife legend Daddy Lumba to the musician himself, saying he failed to take certain steps before his passing.
Speaking on United Showbiz on UTV, the outspoken singer stated that Daddy Lumba could have prevented the tension among those linked to his estate and personal life if he had been more open about his relationships and properly managed his affairs before his death.
According to her, the disputes that have emerged after his passing are a result of his own decisions. “Lumba is to blame for the confusion after his death,” she said, adding that secrecy and lack of clarity about personal matters often lead to unnecessary conflict among families and loved ones.
Diana Asamoah noted that as influential public figures, artists should ensure that their legacies and personal matters are well-structured to avoid posthumous controversies.
Her comments come amid ongoing discussions about Daddy Lumba’s family, estate, and relationships following the music icon’s passing earlier this year.
