Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, has been convicted by an Accra Circuit Court for defrauding by false pretence and engaging in charlatanic advertising.

The charges stem from a televised broadcast in 2022, where the former fetish priestess-turned-evangelist claimed she had spiritual powers to “double money” for her followers. Her claims led numerous victims to hand over large sums of money, hoping for miraculous financial returns that never came.

Although the court has not yet issued a final sentence, it has ordered that Nana Agradaa undergo a pregnancy test—a standard procedure before sentencing under Ghanaian law. She has been taken to a hospital for the examination, with further court decisions expected in the coming days.

Nana Agradaa, now known as Evangelist Patricia Oduro Koranteng, is the founder of Heaven Way Champion Ministries. She faces multiple legal battles across three different circuit courts in Accra, all involving fraud-related charges and deceptive media promotions.

In addition, she is also being tried in connection with the alleged assault of Prophet Akwasi Appiah (also known as Appiah Biblical) back in 2020.

Agradaa was rearrested on January 16, 2023, moments after appearing before Circuit Court 4 in Accra. Though her case was adjourned to January 20, she was taken back into custody over another pending case immediately after the hearing.

As the legal saga unfolds, the controversial figure remains at the center of public attention, with many awaiting the court’s final ruling
