Ananzo has finally received the $5,000 cash gift promised to him by Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido. In a video circulating online, Ananzo is seen joyfully flaunting wads of cash, the cedi equivalent of the amount Davido pledged months ago.
The gift traces back to when Davido reposted Ananzo’s viral video passionately vibing to the song “With You.” Davido, known as OBO, had commented, “5K US FOR YOU,” a gesture that quickly gained widespread attention and boosted Ananzo’s visibility.
Although fans eagerly awaited the fulfillment of the promise, weeks passed without the funds being delivered. Despite the delay, Ananzo remained positive, often saying that the exposure from Davido’s recognition was life-changing on its own.
In a surprise turn, Davido’s team recently delivered the promised cash in full. Ananzo was captured celebrating the moment, visibly elated as he expressed heartfelt gratitude to Davido, hailing him as “the one and only OBO” for keeping his word and making a meaningful impact on his life.
