Controversial media personality Afia Schwarzenegger has reacted to the arrest of businessman Kofi Boat with visible satisfaction, calling for even more crackdowns on suspected cybercriminals operating in Ghana.

In a video circulating on TikTok, Afia praised the reported presence of FBI operatives in the country, describing their actions as a necessary intervention in a growing cybercrime crisis that Ghanaian authorities have failed to address.

She urged the FBI to intensify its operations by targeting popular nightclubs in Accra, where she claims many so-called “big men” and “ballers” linked to fraud frequent.

“Go to the nightclubs at 1 a.m. You’ll see them at the VIP tables with their phones—confiscate their phones,” she stated, suggesting that these venues are hotspots for fraudulent activity.

As a U.S. resident, Afia said she feels a personal responsibility to report such criminal behavior, stressing that the Ghanaian authorities often ignore these issues despite widespread awareness.

Her bold comments have reignited online discussions around cybercrime, elite impunity, and the role of foreign agencies in enforcing accountability within Ghana.
