    Garage Lounge in Accra to Close Permanently After 5 Years of Shaping Nightlife Culture

    Accra, Ghana – June 20, 2025 – Garage Lounge, a popular nightlife venue located in East Legon, is set to close permanently on Sunday, June 29, 2025, after five and a half years of vibrant operation. Known for its electric atmosphere, diverse music, and cultural influence, Garage Lounge has been a defining part of Accra’s social scene.

    The official announcement was made via Garage Lounge’s Instagram page on Thursday, June 19, 2025. In the statement, management thanked their loyal patrons, dedicated staff, and performers who contributed to the lounge’s success.

    “What started as a bold idea turned into a movement,” the post read. “A place where Accra came alive with music, flavour, culture, and unforgettable memories.”

    A Legacy in Accra’s Nightlife

    Since opening, Garage Lounge has evolved into more than just a club—it became a cultural hub in Ghana’s capital. It was especially loved for its themed nights, genre-blending music, live performances, and inclusive atmosphere that welcomed both locals and international visitors.
