American music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been sentenced to 50 months in federal prison after being found guilty on two counts of transporting individuals across state lines for prostitution-related acts.

The sentence was handed down by U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian in New York on Friday, October 3, 2025, following a highly publicized trial that centered on allegations of “freak-off” events.

Diddy was also ordered to pay a $500,000 fine and will serve five years of supervised release after completing his prison term.

The Bad Boy Records founder was acquitted of more serious charges, including racketeering and sex trafficking, but prosecutors argued his conduct still warranted a significant prison term.

His lawyers have announced plans to appeal the conviction and sentence, insisting the court unfairly considered allegations tied to charges on which he was cleared.

Having already spent nearly a year in custody since his 2024 arrest, Diddy is expected to receive credit for time served, which could slightly reduce his remaining prison time.
