Ghanaian rap icon and entrepreneur, Okyeame Kwame, is cooking up something big — and it’s with the government!
In an exclusive interview with George Quaye on Joy Prime’s PrimeTime, the Rap Dacta revealed that although schoolwork has kept him busy with research and academic commitments, talks are underway for a landmark collaboration with state institutions.
“Because of school, I’ve been caught up in research and literature review… but conversations have started,” he shared.
When pressed about his political leanings, he was quick to respond:
“Me? I’m Made in Ghana.”
He hinted that he’s had discussions with key figures, including KOD, and that those talks could soon bear fruit.
“Before the end of this administration’s 4 years, I’ll do something with government — and it’ll be historic.”
Though he kept the details under wraps, fans are already buzzing, especially considering Okyeame Kwame’s track record. He’s been a consistent force in national campaigns, from Made in Ghana promos to health outreach, climate advocacy, and arts education.
This upcoming project could mark another milestone, linking creative arts and public policy in a powerful new way.
Stay tuned — history might just be in the making!
