The final rites for Ghanaian international Christian Atsu, who passed away in the Turkey-Syria earthquake last month, are currently being performed.
His state-sponsored funeral is being held in Accra on the State House’s front lawn.
Many mourners and well-wishers from Ghana and outside are lining up to pay their respects to the remains.
On March 18, he will be laid to rest at Dogobome, his hometown.
